Our Approach to Special Event Planning

Thank you for your interest in Foley Farms and the Carolinian Winery as the potential host of your upcoming event!

We would like you to know that our interest and enthusiasm for organic, environmentally-friendly and humanely raised meats, fruits and vegetables goes beyond our own commitment here at the farm and winery. We make it a point to try to support, utilize and promote the efforts of other like-minded farms and businesses within the vicinity of the winery.

At times our costs may be a little higher when we bring in organically produced goods, but that is always our first destination when seeking out the ingredients for the dishes/meals involved in your quote. First, we look local. Then we seek out organic and/or environmentally conscious suppliers. We look for meat providers that use extensive farming methods (i.e. free range, pastured, non factory-farmed) in raising and managing their herds.

Why do we go to these lengths in seeking out products for our customers and events? Essentially, it comes down to being proud of what we put in the bottles stamped with our Carolinian Winery label and what we present to you on the day/evening of your event. There are great bargains every day at the mega marts and from huge restaurant supply houses, and we are sure many venues you may receive quotes from rely on these ‘bargains’ in hopes of securing your business.

At Foley Farms/Carolinian Winery we believe our quotes are highly competitive. We also believe our standards and commitment and accountability to quality are above, and beyond, the competition. We are very proud of the suppliers and products we have brought together in order to offer the best possible meal for your event.

We have been told many times that our winery location feels “homey”, “comfortable” and “relaxed”. That is a compliment that we do not take lightly. We want all visitors and clients to feel very welcome here at the Carolinian Winery. To hear that they do, is very important and special to us, our family, and our dedicated staff.

Functions & Private Party Packages

The Carolinian Winery is an ideal location for hosting corporate functions and private parties where the aim is a relaxed, social atmosphere with food accompaniment that is upscale, yet unpretentious. “Classy comfort” is the way we’ve designed both our physical setting and our menu.

The Carolinian Winery space is ideal for groups of 10-60 indoors, with room for more in seasonable weather through the use of our new patio space, as well as our covered deck area.

There is little in the way of event that we cannot accommodate, be it an intimate wedding location, business meeting, anniversary party, corporate Christmas gathering, special birthday open house, customer/staff appreciation night, wedding rehearsal dinner, social or hobby club meeting….whatever your event, we can, and probably already have, hosted just such an gathering.

We have a variety of menu options and packages available to meet your needs and budget, and of course, we are always willing to custom-design a package to ensure you and your guests are completely satisfied with your event experience at the Carolinian Winery!

Christmas and peak season wedding bookings fill up fast, so if you are considering a Christmas event or a summer wedding event, contact us well in advance so that we can secure ‘your day’ at the winery.
